I need time to distress, I need time to stop and take a breather. I almost feel like ditching school just to finally get some me time. But then Of course I have no money or food so I would have to go home and get in trouble. Hence, restarting everything. I just don't know what to do anymore. Coping with it is obviously not working. Not many people notice, or care.
And then when you tell them, they call you an attention/sympathy whore...
That's the worst part right there...Your hurt and hurt and hurt and say nothing. You say something? More hurt
And then afterwards they're all like: I'm sorry. And I'm like: no your fucking not. You always fucking do this to me. When they're sad, when they're depressed, you dont call them names, call them sympathy whores, so why do you do that to me? Do you despise me that much? Do you hate me so much that you have to bully and abuse me and be a completely douche-bag? But no, now I'm being a bitch for telling you how I see things. Well you know what? You dont deserve to be my friend. Heck, you dont deserve to be anyone's friend. You know why? Because you're a two faced, back stabbing, self-obsessed, lying son of a bitch that cant see that everyone fucking hates your bloody guts because really, you dont give a shit about anyone but yourself.
It's not just some people that are corrupt. It's the world, with the exception of a few people like us, who still know what should be nice and should be asshole behavior

SOSE: geography
'After travelling some 500 km across the ice, Belgrave Ninnis fell into a crevasse. With him fell a tent, most of the remaining food, spare clothing and the best dogs. Although Mawson and Mertz lay
177at the edge of the crevasse and called out to him for three hours, Ninnis was not heard or seen again. The two men began the five-week journey back to the hut, with provisions for only a week or so.'
Our food and shelter is gone, and our clothes are completely retched. Poor Belgrave, the thought of his death, even though quick, is devastating. We sat there atop the crevasse, yelling down at him and our best sled-dogs, but we only received the bitter cold and wind in return.
'They decided to eat the dogs as each dog collapsed from exhaustion. This decision would end up killing Mertz and almost taking the life of Mawson. According to one theory, the livers of the dogs slowly poisoned the men, causing them to hallucinate and their bodies to slowly rot away. When Mertz died, Mawson was still 160 kilometers from the hut.'
Mertz! Why did you have to die! You were my closest companion, and know i am all alone in this desolate land. I only wish I myself wasn't feeling so sickly, and I could give you a proper goodbye. But I must keep moving, even it kills me, I must reach the hut.
Starving and desperately ill, Mawson inched his way towards the hut. His hair and skin were falling off, his fingers were badly frostbitten and the soles of his feet had peeled away. Forced to crawl at times and to make his own crampons with wood and screws, he eventually made it to ‘Aladdin's Cave’.
I am so hungry and ill, I just about collapsed when I reached the sanctuary of this wonderful, marvelous cave. I am about to go to sleep, so when I set off tomorrow morning, ill have enough energy. I finished re-bandaging my peeling feet, and am still trying to warm my fingers.

Hi. I'm writing this to you because I have to tell somebody. I cant keep this inside anymore, its making me go insane. Ill start from the beginning
When I first got Skype, I didn't think much of it. It was just a way to talk to my friends without the teachers spying on us (they spy on our emails). I made an effort when I met you and others to become friends with them, and soon we were friends, great friends.
Then I felt myself grow especially close to one of them. But he had a girlfriend, so I tried to lose interest in him. That didn't work, so when I found out he broke up with his gf, I was kinda glad. We did start going out, and I was so happy during those days. But alas, I was insecure and sorta selfish and I broke up with him, but I still loved him.
I tried to forget about him and even tried falling for another. Yeah, I did fall in love with the other, but it was not to be. From then, I made sure never to get that close to anyone, so that, no matter what, they couldn't hurt me, and I couldn't hurt them.
Along with that, there's been bullying and teasing. So next time I get all moody, don't judge me too quickly.
I'm trying my best.

My honest opinion of my school
Okay. First thing I'd like to point out is that I'm no hater. I'm just a student from this school and I want to tell people what it's really like.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Forest Hill Secondary College (aka FHC) is a great local high school with a fantastic curriculum. Now, other students may disagree with me when i say that, mainly because at the moment, it is heavily sport-based. But to them I say "are you blind? Can't you see that they are introducing curricular activities and events for people that dislike sport as well?" I mean, yea, so far they only have 1 thing that inst sport related, but come on! These things take time! What, do you expect them to change everything over night?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, I probably know what you're thinking, 'these students sure hate there school!' and yes, some do. But hate is a very strong word and shouldn't be used lightly. I mean come on, denoting hostile actions motivated by intense dislike or prejudice is a bit ruthless. Its not like the students want to burn down the school, or wreak havoc with the teachers.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, this brings me to my next point, the computers. Now, FHC lends students computers until year 10 (when they have to pay more money or buy there own computer) which is a fantastic idea. So why am I bringing this up? Well, I'm bringing this up, because there is a major flaw in this. Lets say you dropped your computer because someone knocked into you. You would have to go to the technician, fill out a form, pay $50 for its repair, and then wait an exceeded amount of time for you to get it bak while using a rental computer that has none of your information on it. And whats worse, if your explanation for the damage isn't good enough for Acer (the peeps who repair the computers) then you have to either: lie about how the damage occurred to make it more "plausible"; or pay the FULL repair cost for the damage. It is completely and utterly stupid
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stay tuned for my next review!

Me? Are you talking about me?
Have you ever wondered what it was like to have an awesome friend? Tea, otherwise known as her internet alias 'Auroura', has been the coolest person ever, as she has demonstrated several times through acts of friendship. Some would disagree, saying that she is nothing more than the common dork. However, Auroura is awesome, cute, and a great friend.
Auroura is pretty cool, or awesome, to be precise. On 7/9/14, at 10:51 PM, Auroura wrote, "i know, ill make my secret triple chocolate cookies with an oozy inside". In other words, Auroura is going out of her way to bake awesome cookies like an awesome friend for a dork. In the evidence, we see that Auroura likes "secret triple chocolate cookies", which is, according to a random poll, in common with 87% of other awesome people. Additionally, Auoura had stated that she knows, another sign of intelligence, an attribute attached to awesomeness. This is why Auroura is awesome.
Auroura is cute because, well, d'aw. On 7/9/14, at 10:41 PM, Auroura wrote, "YOU'RE ADORABLE!!!". This means that Auroura had been able to express her feelings, which lead to an insta-d'aw, otherwise known as a 'me gusta'. Upon further analysis, the quote represents that she was able to identify an attribute which is more easily found by others that share it's title. Furthermore, writing in caps lock is also a cause for d'aw-ness.
Finally, Auroura is a great friend! On 7/9/14, at 11:17 PM, Auroura wrote, "i take off the tarp, revailing a one pony carriage", and also agreed to read, "//;evidencenotfound(missingresource:'quote')//;. In other words, Tea had been able to put herself before others by carrying somepony else for them. Additionally, she had also agreed to read, in order to assist a dork in his sleep schedule. In the text, it states that "...one pony carriage." This shows that Auroura is able to put someone else before herself. Also, in "//;evidencenotfound(missingresource:'quote')//;", Auroura had been one of the best friends ever upon agreeing to help a dork sleep.

Running from destiny

Running. Endless running. I couldn't see through the blood falling from my head in the cold, pelting rain, yet I knew the streets of Canterlot like the back of my hoof.
But trailing behind were the sounds of dogs barking whilst the guards yelled "In the name Celestia, stop evading your inevitable capture!"
Looking behind me, I tripped, falling to the cobbled road. I yelled out in pain as my side hits the ground, landing on my already injured wing. I tried to stand up, but after running for what felt like hours, I could barely move. But, before I yield to the unconsciousness, I feel somepony grab my shoulders, pulling me from the main road and out of the freezing rain into one of the wallflower houses among the many.
I wipe the blood and rain from my eyes, listening intently as my pursuers run past. "Th-thanks" is all I can say, still shell-shocked from almost being caught. I sit back and hold the wing that impacted the ground and cradled it.
I look around the small, gloomy room. On the far wall, an array of weird weapons made from wood and forged with different metals hung from steel hooks. In the corner closest to me, a fireplace held a blaze with a small, colorful fire.
I crawl slowly over to the fire, dragging my sore body across the floor. I rest next to the fire, garnering little warmth from the flames. I look over to my savoir. The darkly dressed pegasus stallion, standing at the open door, turns around and looks at me, his face wet from the rain. He closes the door with a kick from one of his back legs.
"You are safe now, Auroura." he says, walking over to me.
"H-how do you know my name?" I ask him, both scared and intrigued from his knowledge.
"I know many things about you. I even know things you don't know yet" he answers, sitting across from me, next to the fire. He finds a biscuit in one of his pockets and offers it to me. I take the food, and it in one bite. My stomach rumbles hoping for more food.
I stroke it lightly, "Thanks again" I tell him. He nods in recognition as he stares aimlessly into the burning coals. I look at him not sure if I should disturb his train of thought. The silence hangs in the air for a few seconds. "Who are you?" My voice ringing through the small room.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
'Storm' was his answer. 'Storm... sounds familiar... mmmm...' I think to myself. A howling wind rages outside, the freezing rain joining its dance. Storm continues staring at the flaming coals, like he was in some sort of trance. A window slams open, letting the wet and cold of the weather enter the warmish room. The stallion shakes his head, like a bucket of water had been poured over his head. He gets up and goes to shut the window. "It's getting pretty late" he says, wiping the rain from his face and going over to a cupboard in the corner, "here are some blankets... and a pillow" he continues, searching through the cupboard, and placing the stuff he wanted on the floor next to him.
"Thanks Storm" I say, stumbling over to him. I grab five or so blankets and two fluffy pillows from the floor, stumbling back to the fire-place. I set up the bed for me then start making a second one when Storm walks over to me, carrying a small box "I need to check out those nasty cuts on your head, and your wing is quite crooked" he says, sitting me down on the blankets.
"Okay" I say willingly and trustfully. He looks at the bleeding mess, and takes out a tube of cream, a pack of swabs, and a bottle of water. He washes away excess blood with the water, causing me to flinch as the cold liquid comes in contact with the open flesh, then he uses some of the swabs to apply the cream. He takes out a roll of bandage and wrap's my head with it. He takes a clip from the box and uses it to keep the bandage in place.
"Storm, could I maybe lie down, I'm getting really tired" I ask him. He nods slowly, peering at the crooked wing. I get comfortable on my belly, and make sure that the stallion can still reach my wing. He feels along my wing slowly, causing me to grit my teeth in pain. "A mild break, something I can't fix. We need to get you to a hospital." My eyes spring open, and I grab his collar "No... no hospital... the guards... they will find me, take me away, torture me endlessly until they kill me!" I say, panicking.
"Woe..." he says, removing my hoofs from his jacket, "Okay, no hospital... But you need to get to a doctor."
I sit back, "I'm sorry, but I would rather lose my wings than be captured by Celestia!" I say, sneering at the princess' name. I open my silver moon pendant and mumble something in an ancient language. Inside the pendant are two pictures. One of a navy stallion with golden eyes and a maroon mane and tail dressed in armour similar to the one's of Luna's royal guard. The second picture is of the same stallion with a teal mare with the same mane and tail colour, but with hazel eyes smiling around a young Auroura. I close the pendant suddenly and look at Storm, "I know somewhere we can go, somewhere that Celestia's goons won't be able to find us." I stand with some difficulty, growing more weary.
"Good, but you need sleep" he says, finishing his bed "but we can go first thing in the morning." I agree with him and yawn, "Goodnight" I say as I fall asleep.
Storm gets into bed, "sleep well, my love" he whispers, before falling asleep.

FanFiction - Facts
General Definition
Fanfiction or 'fanfics' are pieces of writing completed by fans about their favorite subjects in popular culture.
The Facts
The writing and reading of fanfiction is a huge, thriving internet subculture that is only growing in popularity.
Fanfiction is usually written about TV shows, movies and books, but can also include everything from sports players to punk bands.
Fanfiction is really, really weird.
History
Fanfiction had its beginnings among Star Trek fans in the 70's, who would trade homemade zines with collected stories about their favorite characters. It remained a niche market until the invention of the Internet by Al Gore, which facilitated the creation of at least 700 thousand billion fanfics every year.
Fanfiction Genres
AU
AU or 'alternate universe' fanfiction uses characters from a particularly fandom after removing them from the context of anything interesting at all.
For example, a Twilight AU fanfiction might star Edward Cullen as a chartered tax accountant who falls in love with his client Bella, and the torture he goes through when he realizes he has a secret and inexplicably powerful desire to report her to the IRS.
Fanart and Fanvids
In recent years, with the advent of Photoshop and video software, fanfiction has spread beyond the realms of text and into other media. We think that this happened when Satan decided that accidentally stumbling upon Harry/Draco slash fiction wasn't mentally traumatizing enough, and decided to invent a way to transform it into a more memorable form. Several demonic possessions later, manips were born.
Fanvids are made by selecting short clips from movies or TV shows and rearranging them into a short clip, usually set to music. These videos either focus on a certain character or aspect of the show or movie (for example, this person really likes Sylar from Heroes) or create an entirely new imaginary story (this person really likes two other characters from Heroes).
OTPs
OTP stands for 'One True Pairing' and refers to a fanfic writer's fixation on a particular couple, whether it is canonical or non-canonical. Fixating like this on a particular couple is known as shipping. The most famous example of shippers in action is the Harry Potter fans who became obsessed with the non-canonical Harry/Hermione pairing and became distraught with rage when Harry ended up with another woman.
Creator Reactions
Reactions of character creators to fanfiction have been varied, from polite acknowledgment to legal threats to having their character discuss out loud how disturbing and weird some types of fanfiction are. Fans reacted to all of these things by writing 9,000,000 new fanfics.

I grab my phone from my jacket's pocket and quickly dial 'Silverwing'."Hello, yes, ok I know I'm meant to be at the party but I uhh kinda got hung up" I say frantically to my friend "what do I mean by hung up? Well I ran my car off a cliff but hung on to the edge of it"
"WHAT?! Wait, give me the location and I'll come and get you as soon as I can" Silverwing yells.
"umm I think I'm at ahh Skater Loss Bend. You'll find me hanging of the edge, so PLEASE HURRY!!!" I reply, almost losing my grip.
Three phone calls later, Silverwing, Blitzen and Ruby Rose surround me, grabbing me by the hoofs and hauling me to the safety of the road. "What happened Blitz?" asked.
"Well, there was something on the road, I think it was an animal, and I tried to dodge it and in doing so the car drove off the cliff, and well, you know the rest." I replied, still in shock after the whole ordeal. Ruby Rose, after checking me for any injuries, tells the others to go and find some medical ponies. "Where are they going Ruby?" I ask, as they fly off.
"well...umm, they're going to get some medical ponies for your leg, Blitz." turning around to search through her bag "its bleeding badly so I'm just going to put some ointment on it with a bandage until they get back, to slow the bleeding a bit. Mmm, here, eat this." she says, revealing a chocolate muffin.
"Thanks" I say, as I eat the muffin.

At the hospital it is boring. I have nothing to do, even though my friends visit me every day. I share my room with two other ponies. An earthpony, grey with dark blue mane, that hasn't woken from a mysterious slumber and a unicorn that never stops talking! I know her whole life. Where she grew up, who her family is, where she lives, why she's in hospital...everything! She is a deep navy with almost golden mane and tail, with ivy-coloured eyes named Juliette. Even though she is talkative, she is polite and caring, kind of like Ruby. At night all you can hear is the sounds of ponies snoring and the crickets chirping.
ONE WEEK LATER
"How have you been lately, Starbliz?"asked the doctor. He has asked me the same question everyday for the past few, and my answer has been the same "very well, doctor" and every time he then checks the earth-pony's condition and leaves. That night, I wake to the sound of muffled voices.
"doctor, doctor!" somepony yells. I sit up in bed and look around the large room. I see the doctor with the earth pony...who is awake! I see them chatting and try to listen to the hushed conversation. "How long have I been out for doctor?" says the earth pony, rubbing his head.
"About a year, Blue Jay"
"Oh my gosh. A whole year... that's just... just... devastating" Jay says, looking in my direction. I quickly lay down, hoping that he didn't catch me eaves dropping. "who is in that bed?" Jay whispered to the doctor.
"umm... Starblitz an earth pony, like you, been hear for about a week. but why?"
"just wondering, that's all." they continue talking for a few minutes, then he doctor leaves, but by then I was asleep.
When I wake, Jay is talking with Juliette. In front of me is a tray with fresh cider and a pile of steaming pancakes. As I eat, Jay introduces himself and we start chatting. I find out that the chariot he was travelling in, set for Canterlot, crashed and he went into a coma.
As we walk to the reception, I tell Jay all that has happened in the past year and over the next few days we become great friends. We exchange details and say farewell.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Over the next few weeks, Blue Jay and I go to concerts and hang out. My friends are introduced and things are wonderful. Today I wake to the sound of my phone. 'hey blitz meet me at the edge of Ponyville near the forest. I need to tell you something.. important' says the text. Straight away I feel adrenalin rush through my body and I am ready to leave in minutes. As I walk the streets of Ponyville, I see my friends high in the sky, the clouds giving them a huge hug.
half an hour has passed and no sign of Jay. I text him, 'WHERE ARE YOU?!', no reply. After five minutes, I start walking home, held low and spirits down. When I get home, my phone chirps, 'I'm so sorry, I got sick and couldn't meet up' says the text from Jay. I am so angry that I went straight to bed.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TWO WEEKS LATER
"Hi Jay, I was wondering if you wanted to go out some time?" I say to myself, repeating over and over again for about an hour. The phone rings, "Hello, Starblitz speaking."
"Hey Blitz, I was just wondering if you wanted to meet up sometime?"
"Uh, yeah, sure. When were you thinking?"
"Maybe tonight by the lake, I will come around at seven and pick you up. Ok?"
"Yeah, that sounds great" My heart in my mouth
"I will see you there" but by then he had hung up, but I didn't care.
HOURS LATER
I am walking to Jay's house wearing a shining gown, made by Rarity. My friends are enjoying the sunset in the clouds with Rainbow Dash, and the last apples are being picked by Apple Jack. As I walk up to his door, he walks out in a fancy suit and a rose in his hoof. He hoofs me the rose and we share a smile. Sitting by the lake side it is magical, Jay brings some food and we share a romantic meal, watching the sun set on Equestria. After hours of laying under the starlight, he walks me home and share one last kiss. Then he leaves at my door and as he walks away he looks back and smiles sweetly.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It has been two years since I meet Blue Jay and we fell in love. We have settled into a new home, on the edge of Ponyville near the lakeside. Our two foals, Sugar Blossom and Brave Racer are our little angels. They were born 1 year to date and they are already getting into loads of mischief. Sometimes I wonder what life would be like if I hadn't go to hospital, 'I would be content and would be happy, but not as happy as I am now'.
I sometimes sit and wonder what my life will be in the future. From watching them grow up, to grandkids and the elderly life I shall share with Blue Jay. I know that life may have its ups and down and I can’t stop that but right now in the moment I don't care. My life is amazing I have a loving family that I love and that is all I could ever ask for. That is all I have ever wanted and now I have it. My dreams are fulfilled. Now comes time to watch and help my foals achieve theirs too. They are good foals and they will achieve many things, I just know it. everyday I tell them, "Live life as it comes, make the most of what you have and try your best" and I hope that's what they do.
My daughter, Sugar Blossom, is a lovely light blue with candy-like pink and lime mane and tail. She is kind and caring, and has beautiful purple eyes. My son, Brave Soul, is a deep blue with dark brown and purple mane and tail. He has dark green eyes and gets up to all sorts of trouble. They may not be perfect to others, but they are perfect to Jay and I.

"WHAT?! Wait, give me the location and I'll come and get you as soon as I can" Silverwing yells.

"Its a dream" Scene study
This pivotal scene is where Chihiro makes the most character development. It starts with her finding the bridge outside the bath-house, as well as meeting Haku.
On the bridge, Chihiro finds herself being directed by Haku to leave ("You shouldn't be here. Get out of here now!"). Chihiro runs back to where her parents were to be greeted by these two gigantic pigs scoffing their faces with food. Chihiro is shocked and scared and runs back to the street, where the spirits are roaming.
She then runs back the way she came, finding a huge river with a vibrant town on the other size ("Water? What? I'm dreaming! I'm dreaming! Come on. Wake up! Wake up!"). She starts to panic, rocking back and forth on the steps, slowly turning transparent ("Wake up it's just a dream. It's just a dream. Go away. Away... Disappear. I'm see-through! It's just a bad dream.").
By now it is already nightfall, and a boat full of spirits is crossing the river. The boat unloads, and Chihiro runs and hides nearby as the spirits get off the boat. The spirits float out of the rooms as paper masks, slowly turning into the full spirit as the leave the boat. As Chihiro is hiding, Haku finds her and feeds her some food. ("Don't worry; I'm not going to turn you into a pig") Yu-bird flies above, searching for Chihiro. Haku hides her, covering her with his body ("don’t move."). As yu-bird flies past, Chihiro is 'binded' to the ground. Haku 'un-binds' her with his magic ("In the name of the wind and water within the, unbind her."), then they run through the streets as fast as the wind.
Haku and Chihiro reach the bathhouse's bridge. Using magic, Haku puts a spell on Chihiro to disguise her as she crosses the bridge ("You have to hold your breath while we cross the bridge. Even the tiniest breath will break the spell, and then everyone will see you."), but things don’t go to plan. Just before they get to the other side of the bridge, a small frog known as ' Aogaeru' stops Haku. Chihiro takes a breath ("Master Haku! Where have you been? Wha... A human?").
Haku explains what Chihiro must do to save her parents (HAKU: Listen carefully to what I tell you to do. You can't stay here. They'll find you and you'll never get to rescue your parents. I'll create a diversion while you escape. CHIHIRO: No! Don't leave me. I don't wanna be alone. HAKU: You don't have any choice if you want to help your parents. This is what you have to do. This is what you have to do. CHIHIRO: They did turn into pigs. I wasn't dreaming. HAKU: Don't worry. Now, when things quiet down, go out through the back gate. Go all the way down the stairs until you reach the boiler room where they stoke the fires. There you'll find Kamajii, the boiler man. CHIHIRO: Kamajii? HAKU: Tell him you want to work here. Even if he refuses, you must insist. If you don't get a job, Yubaba will turn you into an animal. CHIHIRO: Yubaba. Huh? HAKU: You'll see. She's the witch who rules the bathhouse. Kamajii will try to turn you away or trick you into leaving but just keep asking for work. It'll be hard work, but you'll be able to stay here. Then, even Yubaba can't harm you. CHIHIRO: Mm-hmm. I have to go. Don't forget, Chihiro, I'm your friend. CHIHIRO: How did you know my name's Chihiro? HAKU: I've known you since you were very small. Good luck, and whatever you do, don't make a sound.")

'Spirited away' film reveiw
'Spirited Away' is the first Miyazaki I have seen, but from this stunning film I can tell he is a master storyteller. During the first fifteen minutes we have no idea what is going on. Neither does the main character, Chihiro. We discover the world as Chihiro does and it's truly amazing to watch. But Miyazaki doesn't seem to treat this world as something amazing. The inhabitants of the world go about their daily business as usual. Places and buildings are not greeted by towering establishing shots and majestic music. The fact that this place is amazing doesn't seem to concern Miyazaki.
At the start Chihiro is a selfish, spoiled, whiny brat. But as she plunges deeper into the spirit world, she becomes more independent, more assured and more respectful. No Face, a black figure with a white mask, is the motivation behind Chihiro's transformation. Once he is let into the bathhouse, we are no longer tourists – the story propels forth. Watching No Face prey on the greed of the workers is a terrifying delight.
The animation is wonderful, if not as smooth as Disney's works – but there's something superior to that. 'Spirited Away's imperfect, but the detailed world is far more fascinating than the perfected un-inspiring of Disney's latest contributions. The film is full of vivid images – both beautiful and horrifying. The line between those two extremes is crossed over seamlessly. From Chihiro and Haku running through an opening flower field to Haku's dragon snarling with a bloody mouth, both extremes seem to belong in the film. It's also excellently done with the characters. Kamaji can be seen as a scary, daunting figure at the beginning, but soon he changes into a humble, wise figure. Yubaba also seems to be able to turn from kind to witch with the snap of a finger.
The sounds perfectly match the on screen actions and objects. It plays excellently with the scenes, but never overbears them. A lot of the time the it is barely noticeable, a sole piano plays softly in the background evoking a dreamlike/lullaby quality.
'Spirited Away' works on a multitude of levels; a social commentary on Japan, a homage to ancient Japanese/Russian mythology, a moral film for both children and adults. But most importantly, it is a simple story brilliantly told by a great filmmaker who appears to be at the top of his game. 'Spirited Away' works much like a relaxing journey. Pop in the DVD; leave this world for two hours and when you will be almost certainly enriched and ready to take the trip again.

Describe a day in the life of a prisoner in Colva Prison. (also Describe an event from 2 points of view.)
To my left, iron cages, to my right iron cages. Everywhere I look there are men, boys, women and girls. The smell is almost unbearable. The guard stops in front of a small cage with an even smaller ledge (presumably to sit on). On the ground there is blood and urine. The strong man shoves me in the cage, and locks the door behind me. "Try not to make to much noise, or else you wont get any food" says a small, squeaky voice behind me as the guards walk away. I turn around and see a small girl, about 10, leaning against the side where our two cages meet. "Oh..." I say, offering my hand through the bars, "Hey, what's your name?" She shakes my hand and introduces herself, as well as why she is in prison.
"My name's Madeline" I say to the woman, "I have been here a month for stealing a piece of bread and 10 pesos. I get let out in another month" I continue. "For taking that little?" she says, and I nod. I reveal a small, foam ball from my pocket and pass it too the woman. "Look inside" I say. She opens the ball up using her bare hands and finds a picture of a man, woman and two little girls. "This your family? You must miss them very much." says the woman, passing me back the ball and picture. "Yeah, my mum died a few years ago, and my dad is in the army. My older sister has looked after us since dad left" I say calmly.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As it grows dark in the large room and the sun sets I tell the little girl about myself. "I'm Grace Olivia Fernandez, and am in here because I supposedly shot my father. My father was a dirty criminal. He was always threatening my mother, attacking me." I say, showing her one of my scars on my arms, "Both my mother and I had had enough of him. They got in a fight, and he attacked her... She grabbed his gun, and shot him." i continue, "she ran from the house and left me. By the time the police had arrived, my dad was dead and my mum long gone. I was sentenced to only a month, so I guess we get out together" I slump on the edge of the cage. "What about your mum? Where is she now?" asked Madeline, and I shrug.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Who knows... She could be on the other time of the country..." she says. I stand up straight and go to the door of the cage, "shh, food mans here!" i whisper to her. She also moves to the door of her cage, waiting for the man with the food trolley to come by. He walks past me first, passing me a plate with porridge on it. I sit down, and mumble my grace. After a few minutes he walks past Grace, handing her a plate with porridge as well. She says her grace, and we eat together. After dinner, once pitch black, we lay on the small ledges and slowly fall asleep, waiting for the day where we can be free, where we can go do whatever.

About the locker bay issues....
Dear Mr Rogers,
Our name's are Tom, Bailey, James and Tea. We have been working on a project about our concerns about the state of the year 8 locker bay. Out first concern is about the amount of rubbish around the locker bays, and in the spare lockers. It is disgusting, and can be easily avoided. Some people put their rubbish on the floor right next to the rubbish bin. Some ways that we think we can stop this stupidity, is to have locker bay monitors, to report students littering in the locker bay.
Another thing that has us worried is the space inside the lockers. To fit all your books, bag, and laptop, as well as laptop accessories, is just impossible. If there are eBooks, then why do we still have hard cover ones? They just take up much needed space inside the locker. To fix this problem, we have the idea to install bigger lockers, such as the ones in America. If that is not ideal, we also thought about removing the shelf in the lockers. Students could also pay a monthly fee of 20c to use a second locker.
The final problem in the locker bay, is the amount of locks that are being broken, lost, damaged or swapped with other locks. Students property can be stolen and broken if taken from open lockers. We could install in-built locks, or just tougher locks.
We hope you take some of these ideas into consideration, and try and fix them.
Thanks - Tom, Bailey, James and Tea.

A child who's mother has the black death (in the middle ages)
*writing on a book* When my mother became sick, she could not look after the family properly. When making dinner, she had a coughing fit. My father told my brother to run to the priest and bring him to our small shack. The priest came and told my mum to stay in bed and no-one should come to her side unless to bring food. As the days past she grew sicker and sicker. She got large blue/black spots on her neck, arms and face. A week later, when I went to give her food, she was dead.

TRASH CHARACTERS
So I'm gonna do a little bio on the four main characters: Rat (Jun-Jun), Gardo, Raphael Fernandez and Jose Angelico.
Raphael Fernandez:
In the very first chapter Raphael tells the reader, “I am a
trash boy with style.” this implies that even though Raphael is a trash boy he
is proud of it and may be a little better off in some ways compared to other
boys living on the dumpsite. He is not only a boy but an important part of his
family and later on in the book when Raphael is taken by the police we discover
that he is the core of his community. The people living on the dumpsite are,
yes, fighting for their own lives but have formed a tight community around
themselves; they are a group, just like people living at Central Station or
around Colva Prison. Raphael fights poverty, not having enough food, no proper shelter or getting an
education, although he faces these challenges every day and more, Raphael is a
small boy with a lot of strength, he wants to get somewhere in life.
Quotes about/by Raphael:
“You should see me, dressed to kill. I wear a pair of hacked-off
jeans and a too-big T-shirt that I can roll up onto my head when the sun gets
bad. I don’t wear shoes- one, because I don’t have any, and two, because you
need to feel with your feet.”
“I was a trash boy since I was old enough to move without help
and pick things up. That was what- three years old, and I was sorting.”
“A long time later I would think to myself: Everyone needs a
key. With the right key, you can bust the door wide open. because nobody’s
going to open it for you.”
Gardo:
Gardo is like a big brother to Raphael. He is strong and
protective, never leaving Raphael’s side. The two go through everything
together. Such as when Raphael is arrested, Gardo feels it too, “Gardo was
right with me at once, and he was
talking fast, saying, “What are you doing? What has he done?” P. 56. This tells
the reader just how much Gardo cares about Raphael and throughout the whole
book Gardo continues to display his caring nature.
Quotes about/by Gardo:
“Gardo- the bold boy- put his hand very gently on his [Raphael]
arm before turning back to me.”
“Gardo got his arm around me but someone pushed him off… He was
screaming at me. Trying to get to me, and a policeman grabbed him by the neck
and threw him off.”
Rat (Jun-Jun):
Rat, is a small but clever boy who really does live up to his
name. He is fast but sneaky, dirty but charming and is friendly. Rat is
always getting things from the mission school as he appears to be sweet and
useless. He saves the money that
he is giving so, surprisingly is one of the riches people on the
dump.
Quotes about/by Rat:
“Rat is a boy- three or four years younger than me. His real
name is Jun-Jun. Nobody calls him that, though, because he lived with the rats
and has come to look like one. He was the only kid in Behala that I knew of who
had no family at all…” P.19
“The kid was sitting up, just in his shorts, gazing at me with
frightened eyes and his big broken teeth sticking out of his mouth.”
“I am the best hearer, the best jumper, the best runner-they
think I brag, but they know it’s true!”
“Rat saw a once we had to dive back in among them… It was the
smarted thing he ever did.”
Jose Angelico:
Jose Angelico is a man of mystery in Andy Mulligan’s novel,
Trash. The boys, Raphael, Gardo and Rat, discover little bits and pieces about
Jose as they strive to uncover the secret of his murder. We know only small
bits about Jose, one of which is
in chapter seven, part four. This is where Frederico Gonz, a grave memorial
maker tells the reader all he knows about about Jose and his family as he made
memorials for his daughter, son, and Jose himself. Also near the start of the
adventure the information they find in the purse tell the reader details about
Mr. Angelico. A man of the age 33, unmarried and living in Green Hills,
employed as a houseboy, and does not appear to be wealthy in any way.
Quotes about Jose Angelico:
“I met Jose Angelico the way I meet many of my customers. I have
a workshop on the cemetery road, just past the coffin makers. I specialize in
the small, simple stone. I am very aware that my clients have next to nothing,
and renting the grave has often taken most of their money. So I modify and
modify and get down to the very lowest cost. The dead, however, must have that
stone: the reminder, the eternal reminder, that this man, this woman, this
child—existed. On some of the graves the name is marked in paint, or even pen, and
everyone knows how sad that is. Make something out of stone, I say, and no one
touches the grave. The poor are not buried, you see. There is not enough ground
here anymore, so in the Naravo they build upwards. The graves of the poor are
concrete boxes, each just big enough for the coffin. They go up and up—in some
parts twenty boxes high. A funeral here is to slide the coffin in and watch the
sealing of the compartment. Part of my service is that I cement the stone that
I’ve made into place, and thus seal the chamber.”
